Itinerary
Reception at Juliaca Airport. Transfer to the hotel in the center of Puno and accommodation. Overnight in Puno
Today we will visit the highest navigable lake on the planet: The Titicaca Lake. We will make a first visit of the Uros Floating Islands, which the descendants of this ancestral ethnic group still live here, whose subsistence is partly supported by tourism.
We will continue browsing towards the Taquile Island, Quechua Island whose Inca customs and traditions still are palpable. We will have lunch in this beautiful place, with breathtaking views to the lake. In the afternoon return to Puno. Overnight in Puno.
In the morning and with luggage on board, we will make a first visit of the archaeological complex of Sillustani to appreciate the "Chullpas" or Funeral Towers on the shores of Lake Umayo.
