Itinerary
Departing from your hotel, we journey south along the Pan-American Highway toward Ica, a region known for its vineyards, desert landscapes, and pisco tradition. Our first stop is the Huacachina Lagoon, a stunning natural oasis surrounded by sand dunes—one of the most iconic sights on the Peruvian coast.
We then visit La Hacienda La Caravedo, founded in 1684 and the oldest continuously operating distillery in the Americas. Discover the detailed process behind crafting Peru’s national spirit and enjoy a tasting.
Our final visit is to Tacama, South America’s oldest vineyard, established in 1540. With its colonial charm, Tacama pioneered wine and pisco production in the region. Enjoy a guided tour and tasting of wines, sparkling wines, and piscos, followed by a delicious regional lunch at the vineyard’s restaurant.
The day concludes with an overnight stay at the beautiful Viñas Queirolo Hotel, nestled among the vines. In the evening, delight in a pisco experience dinner—a perfect pairing of local flavors and tradition.
Viñas Queirolo Hotel offers all its visitors a complete wine experience, making it the best wine hotel in Peru and a must-visit on the wine route in Ica. Surrounded by vineyards in the heart of the valley, guests can enjoy a beautiful natural setting, witnessing the vineyards in their different cycles (depending on the time of year). However, it's not just a beautiful hotel amidst a vineyard but a true wine experience. Viñas Queirolo Hotel is not only a tasting destination but also includes a range of oenological experiences. Guests can take a guided tour by a sommelier through the hotel's vineyards, allowing everyone to closely observe the vine's lifecycle, the intricacies of wine and pisco production, the vines themselves, and the entire process. The experience continues as guests visit the hotel's viewpoint, where they can enjoy an incredible view of the vineyards in all their splendor, the Ica Valley, its beautiful sunset, and the hotel. All of this is accompanied by a glass of sparkling wine or a refreshing white wine. On time, we will go back to the city of Lima.
