Know Lima
It is the capital of Perú and its biggest city. It is located on the coasts of the Pacific Ocean, being an important commercial and cultural center of the country, where are the governmental authorities and interesting buildings.
It is a city with colonial charm and possesses many parks and streets with several trees. It possesses impressive cathedrals, as the Lima and the Iglesia de San Francisco, with catacombs connecting them. It has monuments and museums with archaeological exhibitions and big collections of gold and silver.
Within the city and in its surroundings has archeological remains, as the Huacas, Inca tombs within the city and in its surrounding areas as Pachacámac. In the south of the city, there are modern resorts, as the San Bartolo and Punta Hermosa, with an excellent infrastructure to receive the visitors.
Lima is outstanding for its traditions and culture, but undoubtedly one of its main attractions is its gastronomy, recognized in the whole world. Other of its characteristics is the great quantity of immigrants, with European, Spanish, and Asians descendants, possessing a Chinese neighborhood.
