Description
With this tour you will explore some of the most wonderful attractions in bolivian high plateau such as Titicaca Lake, Reserva Eduardo Abaroa, Colchani, Lagunas de Colores (Colored Lagoons), and much more.
• Winter Season (June, July August): water may freeze in the pipes and could take several minutes to heat up
• Rainy season: (January to April) Roads might be in bad shape. Uyuni Saltsee is flooded. Access to Pucara de Ayque or Incahuasi might be difficult or impossible. Program migh have to be changed due to these reasons.
• As roads in all this area aren’t paved, we will use 4x4 cars, each one with a maximum of 4 passengers. To avoid high costs, guide and / or TC will go in the back part of the cars if it will be necessary.
• Highest Hotel in the area is Tayka del Desierto (4.531 meters above sea level).
Itinerary
Day 1. La Paz – Uyuni - Villamar
Transfer out. Morning flight from La Paz to Uyuni landing at the shores of the Uyuni salt flats.
At 10:00 am trip south through the highlands, passing the villages of San Cristobal, Culpina K until the rich and high valley of Alota (3 hours), then areas with great stone formations done by the erosion. Continue through high valleys until the village of Villamar (1 hour).

Day 2. Villamar – Coloured Lagoons (REA) – Ojo de Perdiz
LONG DAY! Early trip entering the REA (National Reserve Eduardo Abaroa) going through Polkes and visiting Laguna Colorada (2 hours) declared a RAMSAR site due to the nesting of over 30,000 flamingos at 4,278 m. Then up to geysers “Sol de Mañana"", pass alongside Challviri lagoon, with its hot spring in the shores of Polques. Cross through the high desert of Pampas de Dali, with amazing views, to finally reach Laguna Verde (3 hours), in the foothills of the Licancabur Mountain. Trip back to Laguna Colorada, enter the high deserts of Siloli, visiting Arbol de Piedra to finally reach Ojos de Perdiz (4 hours - 4,531m).

Day 3. Ojo de Perdiz – Uyuni salt flats – Colchani
Morning trip north through the Hedionda and Cañapa minor lagoons and continue east through branches of the range, reaching the valley of Alota (2 hours). North through the highlands passing the villages of San Agustin and San Juan (2 hours), entering in Chuvica to the great Uyuni salt flat crossing to ""Isla Incahuasi"" (1 hour), a special habitat of volcanic rocks and giant cactus. Continue east to the village of Colchani (2 hours), where the locals produce salt. Enjoy a great sunset, overnight in salt hotel.

Day 4. Colchani – La Paz
Transfer to the nearby airport for your flight to La Paz.
