- Large bags will stay in the offices of Puerto Maldonado. The boats are for passengers, so we recommend carrying a small backpack with what is necessary for your stay at the lodge.
- The lodge is powered by a limited power plant that only offers electric service from 5pm to 10pm. During this period you can recharge batteries and make use of the fans offered in the facilities and rooms.
- There is no wifi and TV inside the lodge.
- If you are a vegetarian, please notify us on the reservation.
- Although cases in the area are very rare, it is recommended to get vaccinated against Yellow Fever and Malaria days before traveling.
- It is recommended to arrive in Puerto Maldonado between 09:00 hrs and 13.00 hrs, for the transfer from the airport. The boats depart to the Lodge at 1:30 pm. If you are arriving after that time, you will have to pay an additional fee for a private boat transfer to the lodge.
- Flights arriving after 05:00 PM will not be able to take the boat to get to the lodge due to security issues.
- The departure of the Lodge is at 7.30 am, it takes 02 hours on the Madre de Dios River, please keep this schedule in mind to consider your return flight.
- Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by two paying adults

Itinerary
- After picking you up from Puerto Maldonado Airport, we will take a short city tour, and then we will go to the "Puerto Capitanía" to take the motor boat to go inside the jungle for 2 hours. We will arrive at the lodge to accommodate, and enjoy lunch.
- In the afternoon, we will have an expedition to Cocha Caiman, a small lagoon, to observe the large number of black and white alligators that live in this zone. You will loved the spectacular sunset and the beautiful heaven colors. We will return to the lodge for a good dinner, and rest.
- Overnight at Ecoamazonia Lodge, a rustic accommodation
- One of the best moments of sleeping in the jungle, is waking up listening to the sounds that nature gives to us. After breakfast, we will start a walk towards the depths of the jungle, to observe the flood forest until arriving to the majestic Lake Apu Victor, with beautiful landscapes and crystal clear waters. We will go up to the Amazon viewpoint, and to appreciate the wonderful Peruvian jungle, and a great variety of flora and fauna.
We will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the Monkey Islands, located in the heart of the Madre de Dios River. During the walk, we will observe different types of monkeys, and animals in general. We will enjoy a beautiful sunset. At the end, we will return to the lodge for dinner. - Overnight at Ecoamazonia Lodge, a rustic accommodation
