Description
The “Cusco City Tour & Machu Picchu” tour is perfect if you don’t have time enough to visit Cusco, as its includes an excellent combination of the best tours. You will visit all the major sites as Koricancha and the amazing Cathedral located in the Main Square, and ruins around the city, as Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. And finally, you will finish the tour visiting one of the 7 wonders in the world: Machu Picchu from Cusco by train.

Itinerary
Upon your arrival to Cusco, we will take you to the hotel (accommodation not included). After a rest for an altitude acclimation, the tour begins around the city of Cusco and the following places:
The Koricancha: Temple of the sun.
The Cathedral: Marvel of the religious art
Sacsayhuaman, which is a majestic place with impressive works in stone, some up to 120 tons.
Qenqo, a religious center dedicated to the adoration of the Earth.
Puca Pucara: (reddish place) which was used as a military control center.
Tambomachay: (Temple of the Water) a center of adoration and worship of water. Later, we will drop you off at El Regocijo Square.
After breakfast at your hotel, our private transport we will pick you up to go to the train station of Wanchaq. Then, we will take a shared bus to the train station of Ollantaytambo, located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, to board the Train Expedition to Machu Picchu. During the journey on board, you will enjoy amazing landscape views around the Sacred Valley, Urubamba and the Amazon rainforest, with a small hint of what Peru has to show.
Upon arrival to Aguas Calientes, we are going to take a 20-minute bus journey up to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Once inside, you will receive a two-hour professional guided tour of the beautiful Machu Picchu Historical Sanctuary, followed by some free time to explore the area on your own. After enjoying a magic time in Machu Picchu, you will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes.
Then, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival at the train station, we will pick you up and take you to your hotel at Cusco (hotel not included).
After breakfast, you will be taken back to the airport or bus station to catch your trip out of Cusco.
