- Machu Picchu has implemented new visitor circuits, with three main routes with specific differences to distribute passengers in various areas. These changes are intended to improve the visitor experience and preserve the integrity of the archaeological site.The circuit with route 2 will be given as priority and if it is not available, the options of taking circuit 3B or circuit 1B will be informed so that you can confirm your decision before the tickets are issued.

- Rain gear (jacket and pants if available) or rain poncho (plastic ponchos can be purchased in Cusco).
- Strong footwear, waterproof trekking boots recommended.

- Warm clothes, including jacket, fleeces. Thermal clothing is also recommended, especially for sleeping.
- Flashlight/headlamp and batteries.
- Camera, films and batteries (batteries consume more quickly under cold conditions).
- Hat or cap to protect you from the sun, rain and cold.

Itinerary
After being picked up from your hotel, we will transfer to Km 104 of the railway, the starting point of the Express Inca Trail—an ideal option for those seeking a rewarding trek in a single day. Upon disembarking, we’ll begin our hike along a scenic path that winds through lush cloud forest and ancient stone steps. Along the way, we’ll visit the spectacular archaeological site of Wiñaywayna, a terraced Inca complex perched on the mountainside, offering breathtaking views and a glimpse into Inca engineering and culture.
After a relaxing box lunch surrounded by nature, we’ll continue our trek toward Machu Picchu, following the original Inca Trail. We’ll reach the legendary citadel through Intipunku, or the Sun Gate, the same entrance once used by Inca pilgrims. From here, the first panoramic views of Machu Picchu will unfold—an unforgettable sight that rewards every step of the journey.
As the afternoon light casts its glow on the ruins, we’ll descend to Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo), where we’ll spend the night at a selected hotel. This experience blends adventure, history, and natural beauty, offering the perfect prelude to your visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

Early in the morning, our expert guide will accompany us on a memorable journey to the awe-inspiring Lost City of the Incas: Machu Picchu. Nestled high in the Andes and surrounded by dramatic mountain peaks and lush greenery, this World Heritage Site is one of the most iconic archaeological wonders in the world. As we enter the citadel, we will feel the powerful energy of this ancient sanctuary and marvel at its extraordinary architecture, which includes agricultural terraces, ceremonial shrines, stairways, and sophisticated urban planning that reflect the brilliance of Inca civilization.
Our guided tour will take us through the main areas of Machu Picchu, providing historical insights and revealing the spiritual and cultural significance of this once-forgotten city. We will have the chance to appreciate the harmony between man and nature that defines the Inca worldview. After the tour, we will enjoy some free time to explore the site at our own pace, take photographs, or simply reflect amid the breathtaking scenery.
At the scheduled time, we will descend to Aguas Calientes and board the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to our hotel, filled with memories of an unforgettable experience at one of the world’s greatest wonders.
