Machu Picchu has implemented new visitor circuits, with three main routes with specific differences to distribute passengers in various areas. These changes are intended to improve the visitor experience and preserve the integrity of the archaeological site.The circuit with route 2 will be given as priority and if it is not available, the options of taking circuit 3B or circuit 1B will be informed so that you can confirm your decision before the tickets are issued.
The guided tour inside Machu Picchu takes around 3 hours following a delimited route, 1 or 2. Both routes are quite the same, the park rangers will indicate the route inside the citadel depending of the capacity in the inca terraces.

Itinerary
In the afternoon, we will depart by train from the Ollantaytambo station. We will arrive in Aguas Calientes where our trained staff will welcome and assist us on getting settled in one of the hotels in Aguas Calientes.
We will board the bus to go up the winding road to Machu Picchu. We will visit the eternal guardian of the Sanctuary - Huayna Picchu, "young Mountain" in Quechua. Climbing to the top of the mountain is an unforgettable experience. On the way, you will take a close encounter with sacred sites and admirable terraces built on the precipice. On the top, you will have an impressive view of Machu Picchu in all its splendor, the Vilcanota canyon and surrounding mountains. After visiting the mountain, you would have your tour with a private guide to the citadel of Machupicchu, The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, will astonish us with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps and urban areas. Energy is all around us. At the arranged time, we will return to Cusco city.
