They are located in the city of Chucuito, located approximately 18 kilometers from the city of Puno. They are known as the Templo de Fertilidad, and at the entrance they have two rocks carved of a male member, in addition to 80 similar to the interior of the temple.
It is believed that Inca Uyo was a temple intended to heal infertility problems. The temple has a wall of stone and two phalluses carved in stone in 200 meters of extension. Although the legend says it was visited by the ancient Incas, another story says that it was the same settlers who "set the temple" to attract more tourists and thus earn more income.
But according to scientific research, the temple corresponds to the Inca period. During the excavations that have been done diverse instruments like metals, stone, ceramics and carved bone elements have been found.
