Know Chiclayo
The "city of the friendship". It is in Lambayeque's department and possesses different attractions for its tourists, as archeological places, historic heritage, and beautiful natural areas in the surroundings.
It has interesting buildings as the Cathedral, the chapel La Verónica, and the Basílica San Antonio, all with beautiful colonial architecture and details with silver and gold. Also, it possesses parks, as the Principal, with its fountain that forms the Peruvian flag and the Elías Aguirre square. The Bosque de Pomác is an important natural zone, with hiking, to rent horses, and to walk on the banks of the La Leche River.
Sipán is other place to visit. Here is located the important archaeological complex, the Señor de Sipán, which possesses all kind of vestiges, as yards, domestic areas, fortress, and a cemetery, being the most important sanctuary of the pre-Inca culture. In Tucumé is located in the Valle de Las Pirámides, more than 20 monumental huacas, temples, and, wall paintings.
