Know Arequipa
It is the second biggest city of Perú according to its population. It possesses an important historic heritage. It was declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. Most of its buildings were constructed in volcanic rock, delivering a white color to the whole zone.
It is worth a visit to San Lázaro's neighborhood, the Basílica Cathedral, Convento de la Recoleta, and the cloisters of the Compañía de Jesús, all of them with colonial style, samples of typical flora, wood, and gold.
Also, it possesses archeological remains, as in cave painting and possesses several anthropologic and archeological museums. It is surrounded by natural areas, as the Cañón del Colca, which corresponds to the deepest cannon of the world, and its three volcanoes, that is the Arequipa's most famous postcard.
