It is one of the high Andean communities of the region that still preserve their ancestral customs’ lifestyle, reflected in the techniques used in traditional agriculture, textiles and Andean spirituality.
In fact, the Q'eros practice the Andean rituals on a daily basis, interrelating with the Pachamama and the Apus, by making pilgrimages to the sacred mountains such as: Ausangate, Q'oyllurritty, Huamanlipa, to live together with nature.
Spirituality and traditional textile art powers of the Q`eros Community in which they conserve their peculiar iconography, their fabrics made of natural dyes, being the “pallay ch'uncho”, “inti pallay” and “the q ’ochas” the most known.
The Sacred Valley of the Incas
This valley has some of the most productive agricultural lands and most traditional villages of the Andes. Before the existence of the Incas, this was a really important territory and, therefore, important Inca palaces, cities and even agricultural laboratories were built. Currently, these sites are one of Peru’s main tourist attractions. We will discover the history and cosmovision of the Incas through the most important archaeological centers of the South American Andes.
