Know Temuco
This city has different attractions, as museums and natural areas. Some of them are the national parks, volcanoes, and lakes of the zone, as the Parque Conguilleo, the Lago Conguilleo, and the waterfalls as the Truful Truful. Other attractions are the volcano Llaima, where is possible to realize climbing or enjoy of skiing in its snowed fields during the winter.
It is located in the Araucanía Region. It was named for being a zone inhabited by Mapuches, the first inhabitants of the south of the country. This way, cultural tours can be realized in this zone, as the circuit to the Mapuche’s territory, with visits to the reduction of a community clan and cultivation realized by this people.
Also, some historical buildings can be visited, as the Cathedral, enjoy the gastronomy on the central market, and also the handicraft.
