Know Arica
It is known as the "City of the Eternal Spring". It is the northern city of the country. It possesses several, between them, as the famous mummies Chinchorro, the most ancient archeological vestiges of the world.
It has beautiful resorts in its more than 20 kilometers of coast. Also, it is possible to enjoy of the sun, the warm waters, and the best waves to practice nautical sport, as surfing. Some of them are Chinchorro, Las Machas, and Del Alacrán, amongst others.
Additionally, it has other attractions as the famous Morro de Arica, historical buildings as the Casa de la Cultura, the rail station Arica - La Paz, archeological and anthropological museums, a coast walk, and a great commercial port, which also receives cruise ships.
Also, it possesses natural areas, as the Chungará Lake, located high to the interior of the Parque Nacional Lauca, where flamingos can be observed, and the Termas de Jurasi, with waters of curative properties, amongst others.
