The attractive Uyuni salt apartments are the globe's biggest salt level. It lies in the Division of Potosi in Southwest Bolivia at 3.650 meters over water level. Some 40.000 years back, the location became part of Lake Minchin, a gigantic primitive lake. When the lake ran out, it left 2 contemporary lakes, Poopó and Uru Uru, and 2 significant salt deserts: Salar de Coipasa and the bigger Salar de Uyuni.Importante
Itinerary
Pick up from Argentina Border at 6:00 am, then drive to Uyuni, it takes like 4 hrs. Then start doing the salt flat tours Uyuni.
1 day tour Uyuni salt flats: During a short stay you can still visit the amazing salar de Uyuni, a full day trip is possible.
Salar de Uyuni is the world’s largest salt flat. With 10.582 square kilometers, the vast white expanse of the Salar de Uyuni can be seen from space. Return to Tupiza.
