San Miguel de Tucumán is the capital of Tucumán Province. It is an important city for the Argentinean history. It remains reflected in its buildings, with architecture of different styles due to the immigrants who lived in the zone. It is outstanding the Casa de Gobierno, the Casa de la Independencia, and the Basílica de San Francisco.
Tucumán's streets have beautiful trees. It has cultural centers, such as the Teatro San Martín, a neoclassic construction, the Timoteo Navarro Fine Arts Museum, and natural areas, squares, and parks, such as the Plaza Independencia and Parque 9 de Julio.
