Itinerary
Start the tour through one of the main avenues: the 9th of July Avenue, know as the largest avenue of the world. The beautiful Teatro Colon Opera House and the Obelisk located at Plaza de la República, a 1936 monument to honor the foundation of the city.
The tour continues south through the old neighborhood of San Telmo where you will see the beautiful street art and wall murals that give San Telmo a bohemian vibe, then you will pass through the Parque Lezama.
Continue even further south to reach the neighborhood of La Boca, the tour's second stop. Buenos Aires’ most colorful neighborhood, settled by Italian immigrants. Famous for the stadium of Boca Juniors, one of the greatest examples of the Argentinian passion: football. Visit Caminito, the neighborhood’s main (pedestrianized) drag where you’ll hop off the coach to go for a stroll and see local artists selling their work.
Move on to Puerto Madero, which is one of the newest, most exclusive and most modern neighborhoods in Buenos Aires.
Board a boat for a 30-minute ride that allows some of the best views of the City of Buenos Aires. Marvel at the combination of green spaces like the Ecological Reserve, skyscrapers, and different buildings that represent the city from the Rio de la Plata. Leaving Puerto Madero, get different panoramas both north and south.
Head to one of the city’s largest districts, Palermo, which is Buenos Aires' main green area. You’ll drive through Palermo Woods. Home of many attractions, including the Eco Park (formerly Zoo), Plaza Italia and Galileo Galilei Planetarium.
You will meet your guide at your downtown located hotels or, if you are staying at outside the pick up area, at a centrally located meeting point.
We will arrive in Recoleta, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the city, with its renowned Recoleta Cemetery (where Eva Peron is interred), elegant shops and open-air cafes.
Afterwards, visit the Plaza de Mayo, the tour's first stop. Learn about this square's role as the historical and political epicenter of the city. Take photos of the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Government House, the Cabildo.
Once the navigation on the Rio de La Plata is over, we will take the transfer back to the hotel (centrally located hotels).
