Itinerary
You will start your 11-hour tour with pickup at your Salta hotel and we will board a 4WD vehicle and make the journey to the Andes Mountains following Bull Gorge via the first section of the Train to the Clouds heritage railway route.
You will visit the archaeological ruins of Santa Rosa de Tastil village with your guide. There, you will see the 15th-century citadel, pens, terraces of this National Historic Monument and visit the museum.
Then, we will continue on to Laguna del Toro (Bull Lagoon) while taking in the natural beauty of the area. On arrival, you will observe rare Andean flamingos, the only flamingo with yellow legs and three-toed feet. Your guide points out Andean ducks and many other bird species while you enjoy a boxed picnic lunch in this scenic region.
Hopping back aboard your 4WD in the afternoon, you will return to Salta and dropped off at your hotel.
