In this midday excursion, you will be able to know two wineries of Cafayate that are positioned as one of the best of the Calchaqui Valley. In each winery, we will do a tour of the facility and you will enjoy the tasting of the best wine produced in the winery. Your tour and tasting are guided by a sommelier that explains the particularities of the wine, the vine and cellar as well.


And of course, a winery tour would not be complete if you're not taken to visit the Museum of the Vine and Wine.

Itinerary

  • At 10:30 AM, an air-conditioned minibus will pick you up at your hotel for a 25-minute drive out of Cafayate to the vineyards and hills of the wine region.


  • Before starting, you have to choose between 2 wineries: San Pedro de Yacochuya & Piattelli Vineyards or El Esteco & El Porvenir de los Andes.
    There, you will taste some of the best wines in the Argentinian Northwest amidst stunning scenery. Each winery visit takes roughly 45 minutes and will include a tour and tasting guided by an experienced sommelier. Here, you will learn the particularities of these wines, how the grapes are grown and the different processes.


  • Also, you will visite the Museum of the Vine and Wine for more detailed information about its history. After the tastings and visits, you will take a break for lunch (own expense) and we will return to the hotel.
