Nowadays, in Comodoro Rivadavia are developed renewable energies. In Antonio Morán Wind farm has mills of more than 40 meters height in the whole city. Another very representative place is Cerro Chenque Viewpoint. There, it is possible to enjoy a view of the whole city.

It has several museums, such as the Fortín Chacabuco Museum of Military History, the Oil National Museum, with machinery and geological exhibitions, the Profesor Garcés Regional Museum, with exhibitions of Patagonian flora and fauna, amongst others.

It is possible to enjoy beaches, cliffs, and big waves. Nautical sports can be realized nautical and enjoy beautiful resorts in the summer, such as the Rada Tilly beach or Bahía Camarones.
