We were very impressed with Peru - a beautiful country full of natural and historical wonders: Colca Canyon, lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, Nazca, Ballestas islands - the list can be continued. And ancient cities such as Arequipa and Cuzco are truly magnificent... The schedule of our visit was very tight - we did not stay two nights in a row in one hotel, but I wish we had more time to visit other places.
Thank you again for helping us to arrange this great trip. I would recommend Diana to anybody as a great travel agent who never hesitates to make an extra effort so her clients enjoy the trip and do not worry about technicalities.

We started planning our trip to Peru in January 2008. When we checked a tour package with another agency, we found that it was too expensive. Through a mutual friend of ours we were introduced to Diana, the tour operator of Travelandes. We let Diana know that we would like to cover Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley of Incas with the least cost and in a short span of 8 days. Diana worked with us in planning the trip and came out with a cost which was far below the first packaged deal. After having planned the trip, Diana and her colleagues, Edwin and Helen, did all the leg work for all the local tours by booking the air tickets and doing the preliminary arrangements. Diana arranged for us to stay with local families in Cusco and Lima. The families welcomed us with a warm heart and with enthusiasm which made us feel welcomed. Diana made it a point to check on us every day to make sure that everything was being done as planned.

The local tour guides were very professional. Edwin received us at the Cusco airport, took us to our lodge and made sure that we were picked up and dropped off for all the tours. Machu Picchu was the highlight of the tour for which we took the backpacker train. In Lima Helen received us at the airport and took us to the lodge. Miraflores was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed the beach and the city tour. Kudos to Diana for the wonderful job. Thank you Maria and Tarci Canada 28/03/2008

Let me tell you, we had a fabulous trip to Peru!! My entire family enjoyed the whole trip, from Machu Picchu to Cusco to the beach at Colan, etc., etc. And I must tell you, your helpful guidance & local staff were a great part of our enjoyable time. Edwin & Marlene were wonderful!! They went way over & beyond the call of duty in many instances. They were prompt & very helpful right away on Feb. 16; got us lined up & off to the right start at the Sonesta & with Gabriel. And then they continued to check up on us . . and work with us throughout the whole trip. Please thank them - - again, from us! You were very attentive to all of our needs. Gabriel's Yucay Trek was just right ("off the beaten path"); our entire family really, really liked Gabriel (and Yucay!). The private tour of the Sacred Valley was also very, very good. In a nutshell, I would use your services again and again. And I will recommend TravelAndes to many of our friends. Keep it up! So, we will be in touch prior to our next trip to Peru or South America. Thank you, Diana! John M. Gerrard Nebraska, USA February, 2008

Cusco and Machu Picchu were a marvelous experience!! The tourist service was wonderful! The tourist guide was very professional, the bus was very comfortable and the hotel excellent! The visit started with the Temple of the Sun, the principal religious center of the Incas. Afterwards, we visited the astonishing colonial Cathedral which had more than 400 paintings of the school of Cuzco. From here we went by bus to visit the four ruins which were located at less than 8 kilometers from Cuzco. These included Sacsayhuamán, famous for its enormous rocks; Q´enqo, Tambomachay and Puka Pukara, all splendid! And Machu Picchu, I think that the photographs will show all that words cannot say! And we can summarize it well with one word - UNIQUE! Raquel Arequipa, Peru December 2007
