Gonzaga University’s TESOL in Peru Program offers you the unique opportunity to earn a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certificate, which can serve you to expand your career opportunities teaching English all over the world. The course is made up of three components:

3. Spanish or Quechua Course: Individual or small group Spanish classes will be offered. Participants will be tested and placed in classes according to their language level. Quechua classes are offered for those who already speak Spanish.
In addition, the TESOL in Peru Program includes excursions to Machupicchu, Cusco City, and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Accommodations include living with a host family or staying in a hotel.
No previous teaching experience is necessary. You do not need to be a Gonzaga University student to register. Anyone can apply.
Upon the completion of TESOL in Peru, you will receive a TESOL Certificate from Gonzaga University. This university is located in the city of Spokane, in the state of Washington, USA. You do not need to be on site to enroll in the course.
You may choose to enroll in the program to: 1. earn a TESOL Certificate only.
2. earn a TESOL Certificate and graduate credit. 3. earn a TESOL Certificate and undergraduate credit.

1.TESOL Course: In the class of “Theory and Practice of Language Teaching,” issues and theories related to teaching and learning a second language will be examined.
2. English Classes: Principles will be put into practice by teaching English to artisans of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The course curriculum aims to teach artisans useful phrases and basic vocabulary to describe their arts-and- crafts merchandise.
